The defendant, Bernard Richard Pinder, was convicted of possession of a controlled drug in violation of RSA 318-B:2, following a trial in superior court. The defendant appealed on the grounds that the trial court erred in denying the defendant’s motions to suppress items taken during a consent search of the defendant’s property and to suppress statements made by the defendant during and after the search.
