Plaintiffs Servet and Fatma Kahraman have sued their mortgage lender, defendant Countrywide Home Loans, Inc. (“Countrywide”), in connection with a home mortgage refinancing. The Kahramans have asserted federal, state, and common-law claims against Countrywide for failing to make required disclosures and for misrepresenting their income during the loan application process.
