THIS MATTER comes before the Court on Columbia (SC) Teachers Federal Credit Union’s (the “Credit Union”) Motion to Modify and Lift Stay and the Amended Motion to Annul, Modify and Lift Stay (collectively, the “Motions”), respectively filed on November 2, 2000 and December 5, 2000. The Credit Union seeks a retroactive annulment of the automatic stay imposed pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 362 1 to validate the post-petition perfection of a mortgage on Donald 0. Scott’s (“Debtor”) home.
