This is a contempt proceeding involving the questions of whether an unrenewed alimony order can support a contempt citation when payments are stopped after the order has expired under RSA 458:19, and whether the court can renew and extend the order in such a proceeding in the absence of notification to the defendant that the renewal issue would be considered at that hearing.
