This is a patent infringement action brought by plaintiff Leesona Corporation (“Leesona”), a Massachusetts corporation and the owner of the two patents in issue, 1 against defendant Varta Batteries, Inc. (“Varta”), a New York corporation and the American seller of the accused device. 2 The patents are directed to electrochemical cells using specific electrode structures.
