Plaintiff and wife sued the plaintiff’s father and mother for specific performance of an alleged real-estate contract. The claim was, in substance, that they were the owners of a hundred-acre farm near Fort Scott worth about $4000, incumbered by a mortgage of $1300; that the defendants owned the northeast quarter of section 9, township 26, range 23, and also another quarter section in Bourbon county, besides a dwelling house and two acres of ground across the road from the first-described land in which house they resided; that during the…
