In this case Olivier Asser, a former securities trader, has brought suit against the Virginia Department of Taxation, the Tax Commissioner, the Office of the Attorney General, the Attorney General, a Senior Assistant Attorney General, an Assistant Attorney General, and what is described as “Does 1-10” (collectively the Defendants or the Department), who are alleged to be additional employees of the Department of Taxation.
