ROBERTSON, Judge.

Frito-Lay, Inc. appeals the judgment in the amount of $924,000.00 in favor of the plaintiffs, Toni Cloud and her parents, Doyle and Cindy Cloud, entered upon a jury verdict after a thirteen (18) day trial. The Clouds brought suit in negligence against Frito-Lay and the State of Indiana seeking compensation for the serious personal injuries Toni suffered in an automobile accident involving Toni and a Frito-Lay employee, Robert Hammond, who was driving Frito-Lay's delivery van at the time of the accident.
