The question presented for our determination is whether, under Missouri’s recently adopted bifurcated trial procedure for non-capital criminal cases, the issue of parole ineligibility is' a matter for the jury’s consideration. The defendant, Timothy M. Prosser, argues in the affirmative, and thus appeals the judgment entered upon his convictions, alleging the trial court erred in denying his requests to inform the jury that any sentence imposed for first-degree trafficking would be served without parole.
