MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

LUNGSTRUM, District Judge.

I.Introduction

This matter involves various product liability claims brought by plaintiffs against the manufacturers and distributors of the Wil-Rich Field Cultivator, which is a piece of heavy farming equipment. The matter is currently before the court on defendants’ motions for leave to amend their answers (Docs. # 162 and 163); defendants’ motions for summary judgment (Docs. # 165 and 167); and defendant Hutchinson Wil-Rich’s motion to strike (Doc. # 178). A hearing was held on these motions on February 14, 1993, and they are ripe for decision.…
