The City of Mountain Brook filed a complaint against appellant charging him with committing the crime of harassing communications in violation of Ala. Code § 13A-11-8 (b)(1)(b) (Supp. 1981). The appellant was tried in Jefferson County Circuit Court and the jury found him guilty as charged in the complaint. Following appellant's conviction the trial court conducted a sentence hearing.
