This action seeks to recover damages against the defendant for claimed fraudulent representations whereby the plaintiffs and their assignors, fifteen in number, were induced to purchase shares of stock in the Chicago Zinc Mining Company (hereafter called the *104zinc company), a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Missouri.
