NORVELL, Justice.
This is an appeal by Rowan & Hope and Carl Wallen from a judgment rendered after a jury trial of three consolidated causes. The basis of the lawsuit was a collision'between a truck owned by Rowan & Hope and an automobile driven by Mildred Paisley. - Jose Maria B. Valadez was standing ' near the place of collision and was killed by'being struck by one of the vehicles immediately after the impact.
