Bar Counsel, on behalf of the Attorney Grievance Commission (AGC) and at the direction of the Review Board, filed a petition with this Court for disciplinary action against John L. Clark, Jr., Esquire, 1 pursuant to Maryland Rule 16-709(a). 2 In the petition, Bar Counsel alleged that respondent violated Rules l:15(a) and (b), 8.4(a), (b), (c), and (d) of the Maryland Rules of Professional Conduct (MRPC) 3 by failing to file his Maryland income tax returns in a timely manner, if at all, failing to pay trust fund income taxes withheld from his employees’ wages and by failing to…
