This suit was instituted in the District Court of Creek County, Oklahoma, for an accounting for the value of casinghead gas obtained and sold by the defendant, as a lessee under an oil and gas lease executed by the plaintiff as lessor, covering lands allotted to the plaintiff as a citizen of the Creek Nation. The case was removed to this court upon defendant’s petition for removal, on the ground that the suit is one arising under the Constitution and laws of the United States.
