More than 10 years ago, on March 2, 1982, plaintiff Craig Carlson was severely injured when a group of lockers fell on him at Moline Senior High School. Plaintiff was employed by third-party defendant Edstrom’s, Inc. (Edstrom), which had contracted with defendant/ third-party plaintiff Moline Board of Education, School District No. 40 (the Board), to perform certain work, including the removal of floor tile and underlayment and removal and reinstallation of lockers.
