This was an action on the case commenced by the appellee, against appellant, in the circuit court of Cook county, to recover damages for a personal injury alleged to have been sustained by her by being run over and injured by one of appellant’s cars, which jumped its track at Thirty-first street and Center avenue, in the city of Chicago, near where appellee had gone with a view to board said car as a passenger.
