delivered the opinion of the Court., This suit presents questions of validity and infringement of Patent No. 1,930,987 applied for February 10> 1926 by Simmons and, after assignment, issued October 17, 1933, to Halliburton. It is for a method and apparar. tus for testing productivity of formations encountered in oil and other deep wells drilled by the rotary method.
