Following a jury trial, defendant was convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm, MCL 750.224Í; MSA 28.421(6). Thereafter, defendant pleaded guilty of being an habitual offender, third offense, MCL 769.11(l)(b); MSA 28.1083(l)(b), and was sentenced to &h to 10 years’ imprisonment.
