*186Before the Court is the United States' motion for an inquiry regarding potential conflicts of interests arising from the source of defendant José Mulero-Vargas ("Mulero")'s attorneys' fees. (Docket No. 142.) The Court referred the United States' motion to Magistrate Judge Marshal D. Morgan. (Docket No. 143.) The magistrate judge issued a report and recommendation ("R & R"), recommending that the Court disqualify attorneys Jedrick Burgos-Amador ("Burgos") and Ricardo Lozada-Franco ("Lozada").
