Wilbert Kadlec, a minor 8 years of age, plaintiff, by his mother, Zilphia Kadlec, as guardian ad litem, brought action against the defendant, V. S. Langlois, to recover damages for injuries caused by the explosion of a detonation (dynamite) cap for the loss of his thumb and two- fingers, pain, suffering, and permanent injury.
