This appeal raises the question of whether a denial by the Real Estate Examining Committee (the Committee) of the Illinois Department of Registration and Education (the Department) of plaintiff Mary Ullmen’s request for a continuance of her hearing on the suspension of her real estate broker’s license was an abuse of discretion meriting a new hearing.
