The Movant-rBelow/Appellant, Ambrose Sykes, appeals the Superior Court’s denial of his Motion for Postconviction Relief. In 2006 Sykes was convicted by a jury of two counts of Murder in the First Degree, two counts of Rape in the.First Degree, one count of Kidnapping in the First Degree, two counts of Burglary in the Second Degree, and other offenses.1 After a penalty phase hearing, the trial judge imposed the death penalty.
