OPINION OF THE COURT

GARN, Judge:

The appellant was charged with possessing an unregistered firearm contrary to the provisions of a lawful general regulation, in violation of Article 92, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 892, and wrongfully possessing marihuana, in violation of Article 134, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. § 934. He was found not guilty of the alleged possession of an unregistered firearm offense, but, despite his plea to the contrary, guilty of wrongfully possessing marihuana.
