This petition for a writ of prohibition and declaratory judgment and the cross motion by respondents Stevens to dismiss the petition are disposed of together.

In essence, the New York City Housing Authority (Authority) seeks to restrain the Family Court and the Judges of the Family Court from exercising jurisdiction over the Authority with respect to its tenant selection procedures.
