Antonio Corpus appeals his conviction by jury for the offense of possession of a firearm by a felon. See Tex.Pen.Code Ann. § 46.04 (Vernon 1994). The jury assessed punishment at four years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division and a $4,000 fine. In four points of error, appellant contends (1) the evidence is legally insufficient to support the verdict, (2) the evidence is factually insufficient to support the verdict, (3) the trial court erred in overruling appellant’s motion to suppress the firearm evidence,…
