Plaintiff, township of Warren, a municipal corporation, is situated in Macomb county, not far distant from the city of Detroit. It contains the village of Warren and outlying agricultural lands and some subdivisions. Among the latter are Piper’s Van Dyke 'Subdivision No. 10 and Piper’s Van Dyke Subdivision No. 7, all in Warren township, Macomb county.
