Walston & Associates, Inc. performed insurance consulting services for the City of Atlanta pursuant to an oral agreement with two City officers. After the agreement was terminated, Walston & Associates sued the City to recover amounts allegedly remaining due for the services it performed. The suit alleges alternative causes of action based on breach of contract, quantum meruit, and inverse condemnation. The trial court granted summary judgment in favor of the City.
