MEMORANDUM OF OPINION RE DEBTOR’S APPLICATION TO EMPLOY COUNSEL

GERALDINE MUND, Bankruptcy Judge.

On December 1, 1988, Pacific Forest Industries, Inc. filed a petition under Chapter 11. The attorney for the debtor-in-possession is David A. Tilem. Very soon after filing this petition, the debtor-in-possession filed an application to employ Mr. Tilem as its counsel and this was presented to the United States Trustee for comment.
