Defendant, Felipe R. Jarrett, pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in exchange for the State’s agreement to “a cap of 10 [years]” on his sentence and to dismiss other charges. The trial court sentenced defendant to eight years’ imprisonment and three years of mandatory supervised release (MSR). Defendant filed no direct appeal.
