A number of plaintiffs have brought this action pursuant to the Securities Act of 1983, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, 18 U.S.C. § 1961 et seq., seeking damages relating to the loss of approximately $11.4 million in an alleged fraudulent investment scheme.
