OPINION AND ORDER
SCHEINDLIN, District Judge:
Plaintiffs filed the instant action for common law fraud and violations of Article 22-A of the New York General Business Law 1 in New York state court on June 26, 1996. Defendant Lloyd’s 2 removed the action to this court on July 9, 1996 pursuant to 12 U.S.C. § 632, 9 U.S.C. §§ 203 and 205, 28 U.S.C. § 1331, 28 U.S.C. § 1441(a) and (d), and 28 U.S.C. § 1446.
