Ella O’Callaghan brought suit to recover damages for personal injuries sustained as the result of a fall on the premises managed by the defendant, Waller and Beckwith Realty Company. Prior to the hearing she died of canses not associated with the injuries, and her daughter, Virginia O’Callaghan, who was appointed administratrix of her mother’s estate, was substituted as plaintiff. Trial by jury resulted in a verdict in favor of plaintiff in the sum of $14,000, upon which judgment was entered. Defendant’s post-trial motion for judgment…
