This proceeding was brought on by the petitioners Mary S. Burdak and Anna Burdak Pfenning for the revocation of letters of administration issued to the public administrator of the county of New York upon the estate of the decedent. The petitioners alleged that they were respectively the widow and the daughter of the decedent. No ceremonial marriage was asserted to have taken place between the alleged wife and the decedent.
