CARMODY, Justice.

This is an adoption proceeding in which the mother of two minor children and her second husband filed a petition to adopt the children and the natural father has opposed the proceeding.

After a hearing, the district court of Socorro Cóunty entered an order dispensing with the consent of the father, and immediately thereafter entered decrees of adoption as to the children.
