The original bill was filed by the appellants, Central Lumber Company and Bessemer Lumber Company, hereinafter referred to as complainants, against J. E. Dillard and J. L. Reeves, doing business as partners under the firm name of Dillard & Reeves, hereinafter referred to as contractors, and Sam Sehilleci, hereinafter referred to as owner, to enforce a materialman’s lien against a two-story dwelling and the lot upon which it is situated, for material furnished to the contractors by complainants in the construction of said building, to the extent of the balance due from the owner…
