The plaintiff allegedly was injured when he fell off an approximately 20-foot long ladder he was using to access the roof of the defendants’ building. Although the parties dispute the extent of the work that the plaintiff was requested to perform and did perform, it is uncontested that he was hired, inter alia, to apply an aluminum coating over the entire 20,000-square foot roof.
