RUDMAN, Justice.

On appeal. This action arose out of an automobile accident and was brought by John B. Hillock pro ami to recover damages for his personal injuries and by William A. Hillock seeking to recover for his expenses and loss of services of his son.

The accident occurred on February 13, 1959, in the Town of Scarboro, Maine, at approximately five-thirty o’clock in the afternoon, when an automobile operated in an easterly direction by the defendant struck and injured the plaintiff, John B.
