The Arizona State Land Department and the State Land Commissioner, Obed M. Lassen, (hereinafter called the “petitioners”) made original application to this Court for a writ of prohibition requiring the Superior Court of Maricopa County, Honorable Yale McFate presiding, to desist and refrain from any further proceedings in an action instituted against them by the Attorney General.
