Per Curiam:.

Plaintiff appeals as of right from the order granting defendant’s motion for partial accelerated judgment pursuant to GCR 1963, 116.1(5) as to his claim for loss of consortium. This *478action arose when plaintiffs wife, Julia, was seriously injured, both mentally and physically, in a roll-over type accident involving her 1974 CJ-5 Jeep on July 13, 1977. Plaintiff was appointed guardian of Julia’s estate due to her mental incompetency on October 5, 1977.

On June 29, 1981, plaintiff filed a complaint both individually and as Julia’s guardian against Jeep Corporation and American Motors…
