ORDER

Maurice Johnson sued his former employer under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, see 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000e-2(a)(l), 2000e-3(a), and 42 U.S.C. § 1983. He contends that in suspending him and later eliminating his job, the Chicago Transit Authority discriminated against him because of his sex and retaliated against him for complaining about discrimination. He also asserts that the CTA violated an Illinois law that governs staff reductions. The district court dismissed the state-law claim because it does not provide a private right of action, and it granted summary judgment for the CTA…
