The Houston Texas Central Railroad Company sued C. A. Buchanan in trespass to try title, seeking to recover a parcel of land in the city of Bryan 60 by 250 feet out of block 266. In addition to the formal allegations in trespass to try title, plaintiff alleged that it had acquired title under the statutes of limitation of 5 and 10 years. Defendant's answer consisted of a general demurrer, various special exceptions, a plea of not guilty, denials of the allegations contained in the petition, and special pleas.
