MEMORANDUM AND ORDER
ALLEN SHARP, Chief Judge.
This cause is before the court on Plaintiffs Motion for Preliminary Injunction to enforce the terms of a “non-competition” clause in a former employment contract.
I.PROCEDURAL HISTORY
The court heard oral argument regarding the issues on February 5, 1997, at which time the court directed the parties to brief the issues. Subsequently, the parties entered into settlement negotiations with the Magistrate and requested several extensions for the filing of their briefs.
