Defendant appeals a judgment of conviction for possession of a controlled substance, former ORS 475.992 (2005), renumbered as ORS 475.840 (2007), raising two assignments of error. First, defendant contends that the trial court erred by admitting evidence, namely a plastic bag containing a “clear crystal,” obtained after an unlawfully extended stop.
