Andre Montgomery appeals from the district court’s order sentencing him to fifteen years’ imprisonment with no probation under the Armed Career Criminal Act of 1984, 18 U.S.C. app. § 1202(a) (Supp. Ill 1985), based on a jury verdict convicting him of being a felon in possession of a firearm, in violation of 18 U.S.C. app. § 1202(a)(1) (1982).
