Plaintiff Mark A. McMahon appeals the dismissal of his complaint for breach of contract. He claims that the City of Chicago executed and then breached an oral contract with him to produce artwork for the “Riverwalk Gateway” project. We affirm.
Plaintiff has been a fine and commercial artist for 25 years. His work has been commissioned by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Smithsonian Institution, O’Hare International Airport, State of Illinois and numerous corporations.
