Green, J.:

Anthony D. Ward appeals his convictions of one count of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, one count of indecent solicitation of a child, and two counts of lewd and lascivious behavior. On appeal, Ward argues that he was denied a fair trial because the State presented evidence of other crimes or bad acts he allegedly committed. Ward additionally argues that the trial court abused its discretion by allowing the State to question his wife regarding whether she was afraid of him and whether he had ever beaten her or pointed a gun at her in front of their children.
