On October 27, 2011, plaintiff brought an action against her employer, defendant Fannie Mae, alleging that the defendant retaliated against her for complaining about race discrimination in violation of 42 U.S.C. § 2000e~3(a). Compl. [Dkt. # 1]. On January 6, 2012, defendant moved to compel arbitration in accordance with the terms of plaintiffs employment application and Fannie Mae’s offer letter, both of which referenced the Fannie Mae Dispute Resolution Policy.
