This case is the latest episode in a serial dispute between appellant John Stanton and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals (“DCCA”). Having been suspended from the bar under rules that did not automatically restore him on the lapse of his suspension, Stanton has thrice petitioned the DCCA for reinstatement.
