OPINION BY

BECK, J.:

¶ 1 We decide, inter alia, whether the trial court erred in granting summary judgment and dismissing this products liability and negligence action against the defendant cigarette manufacturer. We affirm.

¶ 2 Plaintiff-appellant Ralph Viguers and his wife, the decedent Aurelia Viguers, filed this action against defendant-appellee Philip Morris, Incorporated (PMI). The complaint included claims of strict liability, negligence and conspiracy based on the alleged defectiveness of PMI’s product, Parliament cigarettes, which Aurelia Vi-guers smoked from 1957 until 1985 or 1987.…
